Any tips on how to lower my high cholesterol with type 1 diabetes?

A nutritionist would be the best person to go to. But you could try what one of my friends makes a lot for her cholesterol and diabetes is she makes and then freezes a dragonfruit lemonade of sorts freezes that then uses it in small batches with oatmeal and thats her way of making herself eat healthy.

Tell your doctor to prescribe you Atorvastatin. Exercise and eat whole grains, nuts, fruit, fish.

Oops I didn't catch it was type 1. Just the Statin then.

Ask your doctor this is no joke, usually they give you medicament and you can eat whatever you want.
