How can I deal with my severe depression? I'm Christian, 16 f, gifted/AP student, I have a single mother and I feel like dying. Everytime I fail at academics, I feel worthless bc it's the only thing that I use to escape from home life.

Its good to care about your academics, but maybe pick a healthy hobby that can make you feel better when you’re upset. I know being depressed makes it hard to do that, but you can try. I know working out improves your mental health a lot. That can be a healthy hobby, or other physical activities. Mine is roller skating, and it always cheers me up when im down. Also, keep working hard but dont be too hard on yourself when you fail. Its okay to fail long as you dont give up.
