I got it. Thankfully I’m good.
I don’t know how it’ll affect me in the long run. 🤷🏻‍♀️

DONT GET IT ! ‼️‼️‼️ It’s a business, they don’t care about actual you 🫵

Watch all the videos of “Lasik Gone Wrong”

    https://www.youtube.com/embed/tlZ396O7O5E

Then tell me if this is something you’d risk. What are the chances. I didn’t research or anything before doing mine. ☹️☹️☹️ I’d go back in time and undo it

Make sure you watch this first. If your vision is truly terrible then it's probably not a bad option, but if your vision is simply okay then you may want to reconsider.

Oh for sure. It's pretty safe and lasts permanently. The only thing about is the cost really. And in the short term after getting there can be dry eyes and etc but it clears up within a month or two.

As far as I can tell. One of dad's friends had it done about 5 years ago and he loves it.

I know several people who had Lasix surgery with great results. They don't need to wear glasses anymore

Sometimes eyesight can go back to being bad again years after getting laser eye correction. It’s not necessarily permanent.

It's exactly the same as wearing glasses.
A lens is cut into the eye.

I explained it countless times on here even (on older accounts).

Eyes have the exact mechanism as you use a camera or a scope for focusing. You elongate it to focus up close. You relax the eye and it shortens, just like twisting a scope to shorten it, and tr focal distance is moved far away again.

With excessive focus at short distances, the eye is constantly stretched, the muscles spasm, and it starts with "pseudomyopia" which is like no more than one diopter. It can be cured in one day... all that is happening is the muscles that stretched elongate the eye, are overactive and unable to relax... keeping you constantly focused up close. All you need to do is relax the muscles and the eye will see normally again.

Eventually if you don't relax the muscles, the eyeball itself elongates, and stays lengthened even if you eventually relax the myopic muscles. That is true myopia. Which is also reversible. The ciliary muscle (forgot the spelling over the years) is capable of moving both ways. You can in fact decrease the eyeball length... by changing your habits. When you read, move the book or screen just an inch further away from your face than you're used to. And later even further. And further. Little by little you will adapt to longer distances. During the process there will be a lot of uncontrollable blinking and eye atering which is good. I remember the mating inmate said he has something with eyesight @d_bone_steak may or may not be focal distance...

I once thought about external procedures that force the eyeball to shorten. THAT will be an instant cure. Or something like electric muscle stimulators on the eye muscle that shortens the eyeball...

Also normal astigmatism is a result of true myopia. Once the eyeball is lengthened, the surface area in front is smaller, the cornea is warped, and causes astigmatism. Upon shortening the eye, the shape returns and astigmatism goes away.

Although other causes exist like accidents. Or postural imbalances. For example if something like your feet are uneven, it will cause the pelvis, ribcage, neck, spine, jaw, and cranial bones to be asymmetrical, which will cause uneven forces on the eye resulting in astigmatism.

Millions of people have fully reversed the myopia. All the information needed is published... look at the science on google scholar..

And lasik is simply a permanent lense. It will 100% get worse if you don't change your habits, like if you still keep looking at short distances most of your day, your eyeball will keep elongating to adapt. The eye simply adapts to the stimulus.

@Sodomite I love the idea of “training” the eye by gradually increasing the distance that books etc are held at.
