What do you think about 6/3? I'm intrigued by how people perceive height and whether this specific height is commonly regarded as tall in various cultural and societal contexts.
Only in Belgium or Holland could this NOT be tall. Average world height is 5'8"/5'9" for men. In the first two countries, it might be 5'10"/11. Only 14% of males are 6 feet or taller in the U. S. At 6'3", you're in the top 3% of males. Past that, fewer than 1% of men are that height or taller.
Basketball players are in the oughts of percentiles with their 6'7"s and further...
It's truly ridiculous for women anywhere to consider 6 feet a requisite for a male they date. 14 percent? Brad Pitt is only 5'11". Paul Newman was same height.
There might be some biological thing for women to feel protected by a taller man. But at 5'2" tall, most men are taller than me and I've known men 5'4" and 4'10" who were impressive, and that I wanted to date, or who I admire as a person and feel is/are attractive.
Only people who are worried about appearances, image or society's opinions are worried about such trivial matters.
If you find someone who suits you, have the courage to love them if they're in a wheelchair, missing a limb, bald, short, blind or some other such challenge.
Love is too precious a thing to miss. Height be damned.

A lot of groups like Chinese or Filipino people, will accept very short men as attractive partners cause the average male in that culture is close to the height of a lot of women.
That's my height. Mostly it's tall but there's still quite a few people who are taller especially like in the Netherlands or so. So it's above average but still sort of in the normal range. It also depends on the country if I go to Asia there's basically nobody as tall as me but in really tall countries I might be almost close to average.
There is not a culture or country on earth where 1.90 is not tall. The only difference is if it is like a Netherlands response of "Oh, yeah
a that is quite tall." Or an east Timor one of "Oh gosh! I want to take a photo next to this person!".

That's considered tall in almost any country. I'm 6'3" and it's uncommon for me to see eye to eye with another guy here in the US. It varies by country though. I was in Taiwan a couple of years ago and I felt like I was the tallest guy on the island (I know I wasn't, just felt that way). The Nordic countries tend to be taller than average, but 6'3" is still on the tall side there as well.
In principle, yes a man with that height would be considered tall in the vast majority of countries in the world, but if he went to some Northern European countries, Holland and Belgium, he would be considered above average;
well given that the average height worldwide is 5'9" for men yes you are 6" above average height. less than 4% of the US population is over 6'2"
A similar question was asked the other day about 6-2 being tall, and the consensus was that's above average and some consider tall. 6-3 should be the same.
i think that's really tall in every country lol, how is this a question. even in holland and countries like that it's tall
i think we can almost all agree that 6'3 is tall for a man or a woman
