I had a miscarriage on the 11th of October. Yesterday I took a test using early response and it was positive. However, a friend told me that I can possibly still have HGC in me from the miscarriage. Today I used clear blue and it said negative. I went back and tried again with early response maybe an hour later and it is showing positive again. I'm confused.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? If so, can you explain what is happening.

my only guess is that your human chorionic gonadotropin levels are in flux. after a miscarriage your body can still have at times high levels of hcg. this because because the body has not fully reach homeostasis (normal physiological function) from the pregnancy and miscarriage
I'm not a medical professional, but it's possible that after a miscarriage, hCG levels can remain in your body for some time. This might lead to conflicting results on pregnancy tests. It's crucial to consult with a healthcare provider for accurate information about your specific situation. They can conduct tests and provide guidance based on your individual circumstances.
if you get one negative, it is usually always negative, no matter the other test. only the doctor will give you an accurate reading.
