I get up about 5 times a night, but last year I was diagnoses with diabetes. The doctors who treated me said I got it from not eating enough. Usually, people get type 2 from being overweight. I'm not even overweight, not even close, and I still get up to pee like a fat person retaining water! lol.

At nighttime though, a lot of reasons why people urinate more is because their body is not as active, but is still running, which means liquid is still flowing into the bladder. You would know if diabetes was the cause because you would be peeing every five minutes and you would be so thirsty, you would literally, and I do mean literally, be drinking everything in sight.

You could ask a doctor about the change in your body. There are tests they can do. Usually something like this is in a Urologists department. Sometimes though it's nothing. Bodies change overtime. Either way, a doctor would know what to do. The night I got diagnosed with diabetes, I was peeing every 2 minutes on the dot. It's always best to be safe and get checked out. Honestly, I would have never gone to the ER if it wasn't for frequent peeing!

I go pee before I go to bed so that way I don't need to get up. Unless my body is signaling me to, it won't be until daytime.

If I were you I'd see your Dr and get a Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) Blood Test done just to rule out any Prostate problems and have a bladder check a well, your a bit young to be having a Prostate problem but you could have Benign prostate enlargement (BPE), so its best to have it checked.

Thats not right especially at your age of that is indeed your age. You will need to talk to a doctor about it. Don’t drink water 90 minutes before you go to sleep.
