Have you ever had a random nose bleed?

I was on my phone and out of nowhere I feel warm liquid dripping out my nose, I thought my nose was just leaking until I wiped it, it just kept coming out, I was just like okay then 😂

Please don't get the impression that nosebleeds are common. Not that many people said they get the kind like you got

My son started getting nosebleeds out of nowhere when he was about 18 years old. I took him to the ear, nose, and throat doctor who couldn't find the cause.

It was scary because we would be out shopping and all of a sudden his cupped hands were full of blood and overflowing. All he was doing was walking. The other times he was playing video games.

Anyway he came down with bacterial meningitis that year but also had an infection in his heart called bacterial endocarditis. He had to have emergency heart surgery.

I'm telling you this because who knows if these nose bleeds are a signal that something is wrong with your heart, like an infection that you can't feel yet.

Please don't just blow this off ok?

When I was 17, maybe 18, I was on my computer and felt like a needed to blow my nose, so I grabbed a couple Kleenex and blew it. Suddenly, it was like a faucet was turned on! Blood was literally pouring out of my nose! I was screaming for my mom and dad and crying. I thought I was going to die! 😂 I’ve never had a nose bleed, before that day or after. My dad and I figured it out. Earlier that day, I was plucking my eyebrows and decided to pluck a few nose hairs that were inside (I know, very feminine). We figured it must have formed a blood clot and when I blew my nose, I broke the clot. I was actually really scared.

Nosebleeds usually happens if I've been outside in dry climates for extended periods of time. I have to be very careful when I blow my nose the following mornings. I don't think I've ever experienced a random nosebleed without much cause though.

A few times when blowing my nose. It's always this one side that'll bleed and sometimes heavily. Which then annoys me because then I wonder how many tissues it'll take to stop a bloody nose. 🩸

AFAIK, there is no such thing as random nose bleeding.

In my case, it was critical exhaustion plus anaemia.

So, If something like that happens, it's best to see a specialist and run some tests.

when I was a kid I had a few.
We get a few calls a year for people having an uncontrollable nose bleed so it happens.

When I was still living with my parents and they used a fire burning stove for heat, I would get them every few weeks or so most Winters. Now that I've moved into a house with Central heating and I keep a humidifier going it's maybe once or twice a year, sometimes I even make a whole winter without getting one. I got one just the other day because I had been neglecting to keep my humidifier.

A couple years ago my brother-in-law randomly got one and he doesn't have a history of it like I do. Went to the doctor and found out he had a really bad sinus infection.

Yeah, I have a deviated septum and thinner capillaries. Difference or pressure can cause them to burst.
