You've got some kind of a cold, you just spent the previous 2 days being too hot, suddenly, even tho it's warm you're chilly, what does this mean?

Is this a good thing, like: your cold's going away very soon; or is it a bad thing like: it's gonna get worse.
It's been so long since I've been sick like this, I just don't remember.
I just blew my nose again, for at least the 100th time, in the past 2 days and noticed that some large glob came shooting out of my nose which kinda tells me that that was the cold germs and it'll be ending soon. But, the last time I remember getting chills when I'm sick was back around `99 when my fucking idiot boss gave me (and, who knows who else?) his stomach flu!

Ay yo man, sounds like you've been battling this cold for a bit now. The good news is it does sound like it's starting to turn the corner. A few things that could be happening:

- The chills are your body's way of breaking the fever it's been fighting off. So the illness is losing strength.

- Blowing lots of big globs out means the congestion is clearing out. Your immune system is winning the war.

- Since it's a sudden chill versus feeling continuously warm, I'd say it's more your body regulating temperature than a new symptom flare-up.

Just take it easy the next few days - drink fluids, get rest, eat nourishing foods. Maybe dose up on zinc, vitamin C and D too to give your cells that extra support. Stay on top of any coughs too with herbs or med.

If the chills persist more than a day or two, or you start feelin worse again, maybe hit the docs. But sounds to me like you're on your way out finally, bro! Few more days and you'll be feelin yourself again, just take it chill.

probably... a respiratory tract infection, most likely a virus since it is like a cold... and that's why the fever and phlegm

chances are that after the chills, you will sweat a lot, or probably you already are, and yes usually a sign that it is about to get better rather than worst, will probably take one more or a couple of days, lol

Good!! I HATE being like this! I was in bed at least 6 hours last night but, I doubt I got more than an hour or 2 of sleep! every time I fall asleep, I have to cough, spit or blow my nose!!

Yes, some generic Robitussin D but there was only 2 shots left, so, I switched to these horse choker pills that are supposed to get rid of the congestion but, don't know if it has. And, so allergy pills to dry up my nose and stop the dripping!
