You should go to professional runners shop and let them see how you position your feet during the run. The shoes should counter any wrong posture, to make running safe for your joints.

I run in New Balance Fresh Foam X More v4. For me the best because they position my feet in proper way and cushion running on a hard surface.

Nike is the best I’ve tried followed by reebok but Nike does not always carry my size because I have very wide feet. When I go to Skechers I can usually find shoes that fit within 5 minutes but at the Nike store, it could take 50 minutes to find something that fits.
