Go to the dentist, don’t put it off. The procedure shouldn’t hurt. But it can be a week to recover as it’s a whole to repair. But don’t be afraid.

After your wisdom tooth get's pulled do not suck anything. Yes, you know what I'm talking about. Don't suck straws, cigarettes or anything to smoke.
The sucking can cause a "Dry socket" and you don't want that to happen.
You'll wake up totally out of it. I get really silly when waking up from anastesia. No music for me, I don't want the noise to wake me up.
What happens to your mouth is totally up to your dentist. But I should have gone to my oral surgeon instead.
This dentist hurt me from the get go!
I had other teeth pulled before without any pain.
With this guy, I was in pain all night. I think the pain made me clench my teeth together because it hurt pretty bad when I woke.
Plus I think he messed up a nerve in my mouth for the rest of my life. By doing something bad to my nerve, I ended up getting "Burning mouth syndrome" and the pain never went away.
Just sayin'Getting your wisdom teeth out is definitely intimidating but it's honestly not that bad! Here's what to expect:
- The dentist will give you anesthesia so you can't feel anything during the procedure. You might feel a little pinch when they inject it but that's it.
- Once you're numb, you won't feel them pulling the teeth out at all. It kinda tickles weird but no pain. I listened to music with headphones to distract myself.
- Afterward you'll be groggy from the anesthesia for a little while. Make sure you have someone drive you home because you shouldn't operate heavy machinery stoned lol.
- Expect some swelling, bruising and discomfort for a few days. Ibuprofen helps a ton. Make sure to keep doing the salt water rinses they give you.
- Eating will be tricky at first but once you can, stick to soft foods like yogurt, smoothies, applesauce, mac n cheese. No straws.
- Healing happens fast, within a week most people are feeling pretty normal. Just take it easy the first few days.
Honestly it's over before you know it and so worth it to get those devil teeth out! Small pain for big gain, you know? If you have someone with you it's no big deal. You got this! You kind of have no choice, you either live with a long term pain, or you experience slight discomfort not even pain for couple seconds and then live happily ever after. I always pay EXTRA for anesthesia. Don't forget to tell them, NOT ask them, but TELL them, while giving them a $100 dollar bill.
I;m not gonna lie, it was tough. I had it done in the hospital because they were impacted. I was supposed to be knocked out but it was determined that I had a throat infection so they wanted to cancel it. I needed to get it done so I asked if they could do it with just novacaine. The doc said he could but it would be rough. I told him to just get me something solid to hold on to nd just do it. He was right about the tough part. It took about a week before the swelling went down.
I had mine removed under a general, was fully out for it. Would not like them being removed under local.
It didn't feel like anything. They knocked me out and performed the surgery. They also gave me a prescription for some really good pain killers. So I felt very little discomfort.
It feels a little like the lid of a low pressure bottle of soda. SO much relief. O. O and then tons of like cold yogurt, smoothies and ice cream as the reward
You should do it before it's going too painful. It they grow too much, it could be harder to remove them
Really not that bad for me. Get it sedated and you'll only feel pressure. Feels a little weird but done in short time
It’s not that bad you wake up from and can’t feel a thing for a few hours and they put you on pain killers. You’ll Just be looped up for a bit that’s all
It’s the oral surgeon that does it, my daughter did a few years ago and they put her out and she was uncomfortable with the pain for a few days
i had them done years ago and honestly don't really remember much about the experience
I had them pullef out. The dentist gave me a box of analgesics, I did not swallow any.
I guess one needs a little faith in luck
