What is it with these people? There is now absolutely NO EXCUSES for cigarette smoking , yet alone to think you somehow have the " right " to smoke around others , or even worse to smoke around food ! No its NOT okay right?

20 years ago here in Thailand , I thought they would never focus enough to outlaw smoking , but to their credit they have , and have done extremely well. Its actually banned in restaurants and bars , and that's great. But , here is the resort town of Hua Hin , you seem to have one race that dominates smoking.. Can you guess the country? hint ; not USA..

These people will eat in an open air restaurant , and then somehow think it is fine to simply light up , and let there second hand smoke wash across your breakfast , the anger , and pain , change of venues this causes. To restaurant owners in Thailand in general --Its NOT okay , indoors or out -NEVER.

Dunno how that happens. If a person is smoking just don't stand next to them. I've rarely been a situation nor have put others in a situation where that would that would happen.
Had someone get funny with me before because I was visibly vaping yet they decided to sit next to me I just simply said to them "Don't sit next to me then." they acted as if this was offensive answer but they didn't argue and went to sit at another spot right nearby that was empty with no one there.

Also on the opposite end I've had someone who don't vape or smoke just sit next to me and tell me they liked the smell of whatever it was I was vaping lol.
Funny how moving next to moving away from said person works who would of guessed.

Also if I am with someone I know who don't vape or smoke it's not as if I do it in their face in the first place ya know you just below it the other way or have some distance.

I am assuming it's about cigarette smokers specifically; I don't like being around cigarette smokers. I have nothing against them personally, but It's a nasty habit. There are a lot of smokers who do it in secret, which I respect that, and I understand it can be hard to quit. Weed smokers usually do it in their house I don't really have a problem with them.

It’s lameeeeee. We know it’s bad and people still do it and are allowed to do it around others. I think there should be more laws around it because it’s affecting EVERYONE around you, not just the sole smoker :/

I am a smoker. Therefore, I don't mind. I am mindful though where the smoke goes while I smoke and if there is air and the smoke goes accidentally on another person's face I apologize and I switch position to prevent it from happening again.

I live in Sweden and have barely seen any smokers lately. Don't know exactly where smokers are allowed to smoke anymore. Back in the day, yes.
