I took sick leave, so I don't work, I can't exercise and I have to sit in bed. I am incredibly depressed. I can't even read a page from a book without stopping every minute.

Ugh dude, I totally get how you must feel being stuck in bed. It sucks not being able to do your normal activities. A few things that might help:
- Cut yourself some slack - it's ok to be bored and restless when you're recovering. Don't beat yourself up.
- See if there's easy stuff you CAN do, like watch movies/shows or listen to podcasts. Find things that can hold your attention.
- Try an audiobook - no need to focus hard on reading if you can just zone out and listen.
- Video chat with friends to talk and keep yourself company.
- Stretch gently if you're able - even just wiggling your arms/legs can break up the day.
- Plan things to look forward to like a meal you like or restarting a fun hobby when you feel better.
- Talk to your doc about short-term meds if the depression gets really bad. No shame in getting help.
It sucks now but just focus on rest and healing up. Being active will feel so much better once you're cleared. You got this man - just take it easy on yourself!
