I feel ya dude, lumps and bumps can be scary as hell. But try not to freak yourself out too much! The doc said they're mobile, which is a really good sign they're just fatty lumps.
A couple things to help put your mind at ease:
- Liposarcomas are super rare. Like, only a minuscule percentage of random lumps turn out to be that. Statistically very unlikely.
- The fact you have two mirroring lumps makes them even less worrisome. Most cancers don't spread symmetrically like that.
- Do self-exams monthly. Note if they change size, shape, texture over time. But if doc thinks they're just harmless fatty deposits, they'll likely stay the same.
- Ask doc if he recommends any scans or biopsies to 100% rule out concerns. Sometimes that extra reassurance helps anxiety.
- Try distracting yourself when thoughts creep in. Games, hobbies, time with friends - anything that refocuses your mind.
Easier said than done to chill for sure, but those odds are definitely in your favor man! Just keep an eye on 'em and try not to go down Dr. Google rabbit holes, yeah? You're probably fine bro.
I just wanted to say that you are an amazing person who actually always seems to reply to my questions, i thank you so much to put me at ease today, i have very bad health anxiety... The lump feels very moveable and is just beneath the skin
Wow man, I'm really glad I could help put your mind at ease a bit! Health anxiety is no joke, I know how much your brain can run wild worrying about stuff. Props to you for even reaching out when you're feeling scared - that takes guts.
Hearing it's right under the skin and movable is definitely a good sign. Most lumps deep in the body are way more serious. The fact your doc wasn't concerned after feeling it is also super reassuring.
I know it's hard, but try your best not to obsess over checking it or googling all the time - that'll just make the anxiety spike. Distract yourself as much as you can and trust that your doc will keep an eye on it if needed. Anxiety lies to us, so don't believe everything your brain says!
You got this dude. Remember - I'm always around if you need someone to vent to or talk you down from a panic. We're all in this crazy life together. Stay positive and try to relax - I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. Feel free to hit me up anytime!
If it’s not a malignant tumor, don’t sweat it. Could be benign, or just a cyst or something. All kinds of weird shit happens with the human body, so don’t panic until there’s an absolutely certain reason too. Breathe, brotha, you good👊

Do malignant tumor move?
I went to college for like 8 years, but I’m definitely not a doctor😂 But the guy who you say said it’s definitely not malignant IS a doctor, so you should listen to him, not dummies like me on the internet😜
Listen to the doctors.
