She was just like you, afraid that the doctor will find out you have a rectum! The truth is colon and rectal cancers are skyrocketing. Some people have died at age 40. However, the fact you have an itchy asshole has absolutely NO correlation with cancer. People get these cancers when they have polyps in the colon that develop into cancer. On average it takes about 10 years for a polyp to turn cancerous. You likely have an itchy ass because you are not having complete bowel movements. Don't panic just yet. Especially itching at night around the anus, Could be pin worms. If you don't have al of the anal problems connected to cancer, Go though still see a doctor and get checked for pin worms. I doubt an itchy butt is cancer. Try moisturizing. If you have hives. Change the soap you are using.

Also try changing to a dye free and fragrance free detergent for your laundry. Same with dryer sheets. Stop using liquid fabric softener and make sure you aren't using too much detergent in your wash.
