You can eat very healthy food but still take on more calories than you burn. The idea is to burn around about what you consume ish. This means not just the food you eat but how you burn it off

It can stem down from a lot of reasons , mainly genetics Everyone has different body types if you come from a family that were overweight and big boned the chances of you being slim and thin is going to be hard road to achieve that , compared to someone that came from a family that is thin. Sadly society for many of years has labeled overweight people to be unhealthy. Sadly that is false , it’s a money making gimmick for companies to make money , making you think you have to be skinny and thin to be accepted in this society. Just because someone exercises daily and eats so called healthy food doesn’t make them a healthy person , Food and exercise has nothing to do with your health , Exercising is only good to lose some pounds and build up your stamina it has nothing to do with your health. Society wants you to think that , so they can take your money. I am not saying it’s bad to exercise and watch what you eat. you should only be exercising for your self not for anyone else. Our bodies were made for survival , they weren’t made for fashion and advertising. They have proven studies that show overweight people have a lot longer lifespan than someone that is overly working out in the gym putting strain on their bodies consistently, is that Healthy? Not at all. I met so many so called health and diet freaks that lived at the gym , exercised daily , constantly watching what they ate and they still died young? Is that Healthy? Do not let society destroy who you are as a person , it’s all a money making scam. Just because someone eats salad doesn’t mean they are healthier than someone eating pizza. They key to losing weight is to not starve yourself and not to over eat , if you like to over eat then add in some exercise to burn off those extra calories that you are taking in , stay away from sugar or high sodium foods , don’t deprive yourself just don’t over indulge if you really want to lose some pounds. Don’t fall for these bullshit gimmicks that you see advertise anywhere to lose weight it’s all a money making scam , Focus on eating natural foods like fruits and vegetables, drink lots of water , try to exercise on a set schedule with over working your body , A half hour a day of ever use is plenty without overly killing yourself. You don’t need to sweat buckets to achieve your goals if you want to lose weight the natural way , it will be a slow process but it will last longer than taking the fast approach. Only exercise for yourself , nobody else. If someone doesn’t like you because they think you are fat , tell them to go fuck themselves and for them to look in the mirror , there shit stinks as wwell

Possibly you're dtill esting the wrong foods required to Rev up your metabolism or not eating enough can slow down your metabolism. For instance a smoothy full of fruit is not actually healthy for you as it has no bulkier fiber znd gull of fructose that goes straight to your liver snd converts to fat, slows down bile production and causes insulin resistance. This is a good way to gain weight and cause type 2 diabetes.

Calories in, calories out.That person probably has a health condition that is preventing them from losing weight or a slow metabolism.
Maybe they're not eating in enough of a caloric deficit in order to lose weight? Or they are & they just need to give it more time to see the results?
