Is it weird that I buy my wife's feminine products in bulk?

For example, I know exactly which tampons she likes so I buy 500 at a time, which usually lasts about 2 years give or take. Same with pads and other things.

I do it for a few reasons, mostly so I never have to worry about it, but also on the off chance a female friend of hers comes by and doesn't have any and she happens to need. Plus if we have daughters I want to always have what ever is needed on hand no matter what.

So…buying these are not new to us ladies…since when? Around 11,12,13 years old… if my memory serves me right… a pack of 28 used to cost $249…I remember because I made minimum wages… so I understand how little my mine can buy even at the age of 16 years old…

well… they are like $599-$899 a packs depending on the size I purchase…

as you already know…how much is being used monthly… if I was smarter I would have done it sooner and invested the extra money … well… since that didn’t happened…

aside from being the thoughtful husband yiu are… you are also saving lots of money in the long run..

@Daniela1982 yeah…the decimal point changes everything… i actually did buy 10 boxes of 3 packs by mistake so now i have them store away… i don't recall how much i paid.
$1.89 … $2.49, $399, $479, $6.99 now $8.99 for pads. Never used tampons and don’t know there prices.
I did tell my hubby that I am terrible at math while running a business with him for some reason being extremely successful even though I don’t know the difference between $10k or $100k or $10m…

My question is what makes you think it’s weird? It’s not like when NASA gave a woman 100 tampons for a 7-day voyage to the International Space Station, you’re buying it to last multiple months. Unless you’re dropping like 4 digits for bulk products it’s not abnormal to want a large amount of products you’re going to make frequent use of.

Thank you lol. My wife thinks it's weird that I keep that much on hand. Honest to God I do the same with first aid supplies, medicines, soaps, hell even shelf stable food and water.

No, not at all. I buy all non-perishable supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, plastic wrap, foil, etc.) in bulk because you never know when there will be a disruption in supply. People laughed at me in 2018, and then thought I was a genius in 2020 when COVID caused stores to have empty shelves for months at a time.

Aside from pandemics, here in California, we have wildfires, floods, mudslides, earthquakes, and now we have a huge trucking shortage (due to a number of laws that are driving the state's trucking companies out of business). Any one of those, or something else, could cause a big disruption of supply that could be as bad or even much worse than COVID did.

Don’t they have an expiration date? 500 of them could last up to 5 years, probably past its expiration date.
