Is losing weight easier than gaining height?

Im 21 This is a question that has been on my mind for the past 3 years honestly because I've lost weight I went from 160 to 140 in the time of 2 years but I've stayed the same 5'6 for the past 5 years so I think its much easier to lose weight than gain height.
But what do you think?

Weight is forever fluctuating. Height stops going upwards around your 20’s and can go downwards around your 40’s.

Gaining height is impossible once you hit about 20 for 99% of men. Losing weight is possible for you entire life for 99% of people

No. I've been trying to lose for at least a decade. I got SOME of it knocked off but, part of that came back.

You cannot control your height. It is genetically driven. You can only control weight loss or gain.
