I kept doing things and asking things twice and people get annoyed by me. ๐ I keep repeating words in my head like Im crazy and I keep checking things over and over again. I always keep my things in straight line my mind won't be at peace if I know its not in order like its messy like I want it in straight line order. And I keep asking questions like twice in a row lol
If I had OCD or ADHD I would just tell people what you have. It will make them understand you better.
I knew a man and everyone in the apartment building where he lived used to say things behind his back - like he's not a responsible person. So I would tell them that he had ADHD and explained he couldn't help it.

I have it as well, and I annoy even myself. And yeah, some stuff won't leave my mind at peace either.
One time my co-worker took like an hour to staple some pamphlets and I took them appart, because they were inconsistent. And I've lost my shit from coming home or to work and having stuff rearranged. I flipped out and started aggressively putting everything back. And I have the other characteristics you mention too. I could never date/marry another OCD person
depends what you're ocd about. If you're ocd about the shade of green of your lawn, I'd roll my eyes. if you're ocd about safety measures when bungee jumping, I'd say you're very wise.
Yes it can be, especially if they're not your friends and you make you problem their problem. I also have OCD and so does my friend... I always tried to keep it in to not bother other people even if it tortured me, while my friend would burden everyone around her with hers. My OCD improved with time while hers got worse.

I don't remember who I was giving a ride to once, someone from work I think and I turned the volume on the radio and it went to an odd number and she started spazzing and telling me to change it to an even number and I'd have been lying if I said it wasn't annoying that she was trying to tell me what to do in my own car.
I'm also OCD and I can see how certain things we do don't necessarily make sense to others, but a lot of it only affects us. I think if those around you can't understand and criticize you, that's a them problem. It's literally a disease and people seem to forget that.
I had it as a teen. Just own it and say "Don't mind my ocd it's driving me crazy today" most people these days understand and often have their own brief story about it to share when you are open.
Not necessarily. I think we all have OCD tendencies, which can range from weak to strong.
No. I'm OCD. When I go to church, I have to go through all the missals in my pew and fix the dog ears. I MUST do it!
Can be yes. I have OCD and I am annoyed by myself
No because itโs a disorder and nobody should judge
Nah, because everyone is at least a little ocd
