Sugar does not lead to diabetes so not really. It's low metabolism, weight and unhealth style and genetics that lead to diabetes.
So no having a lot of sugar won't directly lead to diabetes. However sugar can effect everything above.
More importantly having a lot of carbs and not enough physical activity can lead to diabetes.
So really just depends how your living. Tbh by all accounts I should probably have it but don't, though skinny and I do think my metabolism is good.

Then you be at a higher risk and sadly by a good amount. But having a better lifestyle will always decrease your chances.
Most people won't know until older really. I can for sure see myself getting it when I am turning 40 or something but then again my family has no real history of it and if my dad should have it he would of by now I would think.
While staying within your calorie limit is important for overall health, consuming excessive sugar, even within those calories, can still increase your risk of developing diabetes over time. It's essential to maintain a balanced diet with moderate sugar intake to minimize the risk.
