I want to say yes but they aren’t perfect either.
theyre mostly great at diagnosing, but not always. And they can be familiar with good coping strategies
but they can’t help their children find their identity or ultimate path, nor can they give their child confidence or good decision skills. We all deserve credit on our own and other parents also deserve credit. There’s a good chance they’ll raise good kids though- or at least, kids that would be sure of themselves.
I also can see any kid getting overwhelmed by learning all psychological things from an early age. Not every kid wants to observe and all. Not every psychologist is trained in children’s psychology either and that means they have to have the ability to break things down for their kiddos in a way they can understand, not feel overwhelmed, and apply to their life where they are.
I will say it respectively depends. While there’s a good chance they would be. I also want to highlight something super important: not everyone who studies psychology is a true humanitarian or has others’ best interest in mind. As with any profession. So they could actually use what they learned to be directly abusive or even unintentionally harmful for their kids. So since that is a real possibility and the psychologists don’t have a 100% of them as being good to great parents is simply vote no. Of course I’m a bit bias, but I also just simply think no one is perfect, and sometimes psychology can fail us too.

High intelligence. High insanity.
It's a trade off. Nothing is perfect.
You put this Q with that image, a snort was created. 😎
Likely less so.
"A number of surveys, conducted by Guy and others, reveal some worri-some statistics about therapists' lives and well-being. At least three out of four therapists have experienced major distress within the past three years, the principal cause being relationship problems. More than 60 percent may have suffered a clinically significant depression at some point in their lives, and nearly half admitted that in the weeks following a personal crisis they're unable to deliver quality care."

Most of them are leftist meaning they would be fine with teaching them queer theory, chemically castrating them with puberty blockers and cross sex hormones, and mutilating their bodies. None of this would ever lead to a good outcome for the child.
That's a really worthless answer.

Neither , exactly the same ratio as everyone else.
fuck psychologists they are usually privilegded fucks who don't actually have solutions to any of our problems
You sound unreasonably angry, and exactly the type of person who needs therapym
@AhemAhemAhem or his parents were therapists….
A psychology student is not a therapist.
Did you choose any yourself? Choosing the right therapist to match your needs is so important. It's not like any other mind of doctor.

Neither. I've seen fucked up beyond redemption and totally adjusted. Not a blanket Qlqurstionm
Probably a bit of both. How scarring would it be to be constantly analyzed, examined and studied by a parent? Ell oh ell!
Neither. The question is bad. It's a false dichotomy that precludes all nuance.
Exactly 😅
there's very little to psychology that i believe in. they really don't know much
if you are a psychologist that cleans the mirror
Their kids need help the most. The kids I knew growing up who had a psychologist for a parent or parents were the worst kids and adults in the world.
LOL nah Most probably would have said it differently as a Philosopher
makes no substantial difference
They put money away for their kid's therapy.
neither
