Does anyone here have experience with cannabis and period cramps/pain?

Heyho, so a month ago our laws changed. So now that it is legal I think about getting cannabis for my period pain and cramps, Purely for medicaI use. Smoking is not healthy, but if you have read the side effects of pain medication you can't say one is worse than the other. I would love some experiences though, before I make a doctors appointment, which I plan to do anyway. Also just trying is also hard to do, as I have to get a kind of club membership to buy it legally.

It's funny that you bring this up because I'm currently on my period and just got some. About to try it out tonight with my boyfriend. I hope it helps. It just became legal in my state too. Which state do you live in? I live in South Carolina.
