Why does it hurt under my foot when I walk?

I've got an appointment with my doctor next week but wondering if anyone knows what it could be.

When I put my left foot on the ground to walk, it is painful under the ball of my foot when I walk. Sometimes my toes feel like pins and needles also.

When I touch underneath the ball of my foot it hurts there too.

I've never had this pain before and noticed it a few weeks ago.

I stand for about 4 hours a day at my job, then the other 4 hours I'm sitting down.

It just always hurts underneath my left foot when I walk.

One time I had pain like that and it was because I had stepped on something and it went through my skin and I didn't even feel it when it happened.

Try to rest more, give it some time
Drink enough amounts of water in case u have sediments usually salt
If u take salt in ur diet then decrease it
When u go home, put ur legs inside water mixed with some salt, it helps reliefing and removing swelling from ur feet
Rest rest rest
And see a doctor of course

Could be a muscle issue. Maybe tendon damage. Maybe the fat padding on the bottom of your foot is worn out.

Try changing your shoes/ slippers for a week and see if it improves. It's possible they may have worn down.

Are you diabetic? Stress fracture? Possible plantar fasciitis?

Not a diabetic but I exercise daily. Just walking though. I try do 10000 steps a day.

Most likely either bruising or a stress fracture.

It might be planter facetious, pretty common, pretty curable.

Sounds like metatarsalgia. It could have a lot of causes. But based on your posts to other posters it sounds like overuse. What kind of shoes do you wear when you're getting in steps?
