My last boyfriend didn't have very big arm muscles at all, not even his legs - they were skinny.

But where his strength was, was in his forearms. You couldn't visibly see muscle there, but he was VERY strong.
Sometimes I wondered how he could be so strong and lift very heavy things without any effort.
It amazed me.

Yes, I believe they should. We are capable of growing muscle for a reason. Now strength is of course the goal and not just visible muscle, but I think all our consciences can tell something intrinsically wrong with obesity or emaciated physiques. Men are made to be strong, to protect and provide. Even that isn't as pertinent in modern days as it used to be, it is still a timeless truth and still needed more than most people care to admit.

With enough size, strength is simply a byproduct of that.

There are ways of training where you won't put on much size, but can get strong enough to bend steel though.

Skinny is better than when men do slow muscle building and get that muscle under a layer of fat look. It makes them look rounded. If they added in some fast past aerobic workouts they would look great with the more normal/basic muscle definition. Mind you I am hot and being picky today. I normally am not so sharing/judgy.
