No, muscles showing is not necessary for many women. Personally I do not care, some men can be strong/fit but just have a none-muscular body shape.. though I do want someone who is physically active, but that is for sharing interests and him being healthy and not so much looks.
Now you are still young so it is not so critical being active for your health, but it will be in +5 years, so by then I hope you will try to find some physical activity you like.. it is necessary to keep a healthy body for many other things than finding a partner :)

it doesn’t really matter to me. as long as you have healthy habits such as not eating wendy’s everyday and take care of yourself and don’t smell weird i’m fine with it.

Nope. I have the upper body strength of spongebob but I'm a very smart person and I know how to apply my knowledge properly. It depends on what people are attracted to because if people are going off physique I'm not going to attract anybody. But if someone is interested in a person who applies knowledge, works hard, and is an open communicater I might have a chance if physique is not a preference. Also having muscles certainly helps for most cases but muscles won't help you when you need to write a 3000 line project in Javascript that is due in 5 days.
Let's say your body is like a car. Some people use their car to go to work every day for years. Imagine if they said, 'does my car really need to be maintained?' You would think they're nuts. Obviously at some point it's going to breakdown and then they can't get to work. Your art career is going to suffer a setback if you have a heart attack. This becomes more obvious the older you get. It's better to maintain than to ignore your body.
Also read my MyTakes on 'being a better man' IF you're into being traditional in any way.Well if you look like that. YOU DIFINITELY look like me bro 😂. Welcome welcome fam. Shake hands 🤝
But I tell you what... I do like sport I slightly do it beside gaming and reading, I like walking, running, football whenever possible. But it doesn't help if your diet is not good enough. We need to know the reason behind these body fats, and eliminate them from the deit. After that it is going to be a very easy task. So easy.
If you're like me 100% you know your tummy grows and shrinks from time to time if you're changing deit, I am trying to not let that give me demotivating hope.it's not necessary to be fit (or muscular), but fitness goes hand in hand with health.
the man in the photo looks like he could exercise more and eat better. he doesn't need to if he doesn't want to, but i'm sure he'd feel a lot more better if he did.Though everybody has muscles they are necessary to a certain degree. There´s no necessacity for a visible shown sixpack but a strong muscal system reduces the chance of getting different illnesses.
You don´t need to look like a body builder but it´s not wrong to reduce some belly fat.
Sport isn´t easy for me either but it reduces the chance of getting illnesses like diabetes. What's more important that they are in good health. It's okay if you don't have muscles that basically display themselves. Just make sure you are taking care of yourself and at least make time for exercise, because in the long run when you get older you're going to pay for what your younger self did.
As for me, I exercise a lot, I eat healthy, and I do have very noticeable muscle on my body. I don't necessarily show off, but when it's a hot day and I'm wearing a short sleeve or sleeveless shirt, I can't help that people look at my arms or chest at that. You never have to be the biggest guy, but make sure that your strength and health will allow you to be self-sufficient and sufficient at work. Before my boyfriend I dated guys who were very skinny and tall and that's what I found attractive and still kinda do but my boyfriend is a lot muscular and tall. He wasn't my usual type but I find him to be extremely attractive inside and out. Basically everyone likes different things "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"
Try looking for the word toned.
you don’t need a six pack etc, you just need to look toned and actually be toned.
can you do a mile and a 1/2 in under 10:30
if not you need to sort things out.
there is more to it than simply looking okay, that package of blood, water n shit needs to last circa 90 years or so, then you die.It really depends on your goal. Because someone could get muscular in an unhealthy way and a healthy way. And for different reasons. So one persons health journey may not require them to have muscle mass and another might.
So what are your goals & reasons for getting in better shape?Being as fit as I am has made an astronomical difference for both my health and attractiveness.
And it is not about physique only. When someone has self management it would necessarily reflect on their self care to begin with.
You are showing you have standards. The same I do with my body is the same I tend to do with everything else: excellence.I'm 66 and more cut and fit than most guys in their 20s. I can tell you that if you look like that at your age, your health is going to deteriorate rapidly as you get older. It's not healthy. You need better diet and more exercise. If you don't you will regret it later.
Depends on that your height, and face,
women have three areas of what they find attractive,
height, face, body. If your body is lacking and not ideal. Your height and face should be ideal to compensate,You need sufficient muscle to enable your body to function and to enable you to do what you want to do in life. The rest is cosmetic. There is no need to be able to lift a small car in reality. We have machines to do that for us.
My boyfriend looks similar to you and I didn't even notice until he himseld pointed it out. I think to me body isn't really as important as face and personality.
I mean there are a lotta girls that are into dad bods. Those don't particularly show muscles.
Not really they just have to be healthy... I think your body type is fine sir.
Everyone talking about health. But i think OP only wants to know if he needs muscles to try some ass.
Everyone avoiding that topic tho lol.Yeah if I were that guy I would be going after more muscle, and that posture in the picture is kinda ugly.
This is a physique of an untrained individual and I like to stay active. You don't need to have visible muscles to be manly. Look at this dude, he's got a "gut" but he's more manly than any action movie star.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/qihY8mp7aa0You need better posture for sure, losing weight would help with that.
