I've done heavy labor all day in temperatures around 44 (111F). I used to drink about 2 gallons of water a day (7.5L), plus more after I got off work.

I have hiked in much higher temperatures than that. I've hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon twice, and most of the way down two more times. Those sheer rock cliffs reflect and trap the heat. It can get to 47-48 in the shade at Phantom Ranch, which is in a wooded area away from the rock walls. But when you get out in the open between the cliffs it becomes a real scorcher. It's very difficult to stay hydrated. You can't drink water fast enough.

As long as you stayed hydrated and wore a hat to keep the direct sunlight off, added to which sunblock for your skin.. Apart from feeling hot, you would have raised blood pressure and you would use more oxygen..

As long as you never over exerted yourself, a slow walk wouldn't do you any long term damage.. the key though is plenty, and I mean PLENTY of fluids!

it depends... I would use a hat for sure...

I wouldn't run if the temperature is higher than 45C, but I walked every single hot day at least 7km... I love it when it is hot... I don't feel bad...

Depends on how long you’re out there, but usually heat stroke and heat exhaustion will get you

    Between 40℃ (104F) and 50℃ (122F)

Apparently the human body can't tolerate its temperature reaching 43℃. If it hits that temperature, apparently 99.9% of humans would die in that scenario.

To withstand those types of outoor temperatures, you would need a lot of ways to cool your body. Shade, water, a breeze... whatever it is.

Depends how acclimated you are to that heat. I would do okay. Mid 40s is normal for me. 50 would suck, but it wouldn't kill me. Most people don't live anywhere this warm so it could literally kill them. Even if they chug water, they can still get heat stroke.

Well put it this way in Kuwait City birds fall from the sky and fish boil in the ocean with temperatures this high and a heatwave is considered dangerous to humans if it goes above 41C. Heart problems, heat exhaustion and then heatstroke is likely if you do that.

I spent my day walking under the sun when the high was 45°C in Southeastern Turkey.

I did not have a problem.

45°C ain't so bad if it is dry heat.

It depends on how long, how hydrated you are if you are vulnerable to the heat

as soon as your body core temperature goes above 40, you'll just straight up die. your body can fight back with sweating for a bit but if it's 50 degrees with high air moisture and no wind, your body core temperature will rise above critical levels after some time. so if there's no method to cool you down, your body will succumb to heat death. you'll just have multiple organ failures. one of these failing organs will be your brain.

Extremely dangerous if your out for extended periods of time especially if you aren't hydronated and aren't used to that kind of heat. You could very easily get heat stroke.

At those temperatures your gonna be sweating and losing electrolytes like crazy.

Well it can contribute to a lot of medical problems that can potentially result in death. I was working at a land fill once when I was very young. I ended up with a case of heat exhaustion, but you can also get a heat stroke and those are highly dangerous.

I mean... people definitely die in heat like that all the time. You have to be drinking lots of water constantly throughout the day. Even with enough water, your chances are much better if you're in good physical shape.

Very. Forty-five years ago today, July 22,1979, then-St. Louis football Cardinals tight end J. V. Cain, expired from heatstroke on his 28th birthday at his team's training camp.
