This depends on what the issue is. For instance, months ago my knees were hurting so bad I couldn't do squats for weeks. But the issue was with my connective tissues. They needed time to heal. However, if a person had an issue with the nerves in their knee or less cartilage, their issue isn't so easily fixed with time.
