I've had pain in my ankle for last two weeks.

I went to my GP and she said I've sprained my ankle.

I've never sprained my ankle before and don't know how this one happened.

At your age, 6 weeks for normal activity, three months for athletic activity. I had a sprain at 17 and another at 31. It was about double the recovery time between the two.

Yeah, it really made me made me aware of my mortality. Going from a severe spring, to playing basketball in a little over a month as a teenager is something I completely took for granted.

I hope you have a quick recovery though. PT is such a game changer by the way.

Should be a few weeks or so best case scenario. Feel better, I know that sucks and it hurts like hell.
