It depends on the source. Nausea from bad food? Yeah, go ahead and puke it out rather than deal with food poisoning. If it’s a stomach bug, that would probably be best too. If it’s from pregnancy or some kind of chronic illness, take some medication if you can since that condition isn’t going away. With headaches, it’s the same situation. Some are just temporary things to deal with and if it doesn’t hinder your day then no biggie. Me personally, I only take them when it’s really getting in my way of doing things normally. Sinus headaches and tension headaches can be real assholes if you let them. And I know that comes from general stress and allergies and even though I’m managing those conditions, they’re not leaving my body just yet so I’ll take some advil.
I think most people know when they experience food poisoning versus something more harmless such as nausea from forgetting to eat
I have migraines with vomiting. Sometimes it can last for a couple of days. If I didn't take something, I'd be in bed all the time. If I can avoid triggers, the headaches are less frequent, but I can't always stay on top of it. If I can go to bed and sleep it off, I will, but otherwise I'll take pain relief early to keep it at bay.
Yes, I have seen doctors. But since a headache is a clinical diagnosis, not much can be done unless a medical professional is willing to pursue it further. I've had migraines since I was ten, and I've (mostly) figured out how to minimize the frequency and the amount of pain relief I take. I avoid meds where possible and I have a high pain threshhold, but days of mindnumbing pain does get to a person eventually. :)
I mostly always have some paracetamol near me, and using it once in a while when there is headache, like once a month or so. I trust this molecule for a reasonable usage, as it is medically advised. So, I don't see the point of forcing myself to go through headache naturally.
In my case, I have speculated back then that not enough water and smoking could have produced headaches. But then it's just speculation. Though quitting smoking and drinking water in reasonable amount can't be bad advice lol
Hahaha, well, when a doctor is in the streets then it's unlikely its a doctor. In that case, I have nothing to prove/disprove 😏
Maybe, unless these things are persistent or very severe, in which case you should see a doctor.

It took me many years to realize that my issue with headaches was that I was constantly dehydrated without realizing it. I used to have pills almost daily, but ever since I started drinking a lot of water, headaches are no longer a daily phenomenon and I rarely take pills anymore.
If you can get through them, sure lol.
I got tired of them though and started taking pain killers. Then my neurologist had Cefaly sent to me and prescribed me magnesium. Told me to stop with the painkillers 😅
I think it’s best to find the source and actually treat that than the symptoms, but sometimes you just make do with what you have and at the time I only had painkillers lol.
You may have an underlying medical condition.
When I get migraines I have this paracetamol plus caffeine powder and it really helps. In the past I just had to wait for it to go away but now I don't so I'm happy about that. Otherwise I only take supplements no meds.
I usually let my body heal itself.
is this a make-up tutorial?
