If you had to commute once a week for (insert reason worth it) would you rather travel 🚂 10 pm to 430 am; or 430 am to 10 am and WHY?

I would travel from 10pm... into the night

because I would be way more alert ( I might wake up quite wonky in the middle of the night, so I don't want to get up and drive at 4am) and if needed, I would and could rest almost all of the morning, and still have the rest of the day to do whatever I was going to do over there

and... if I am going to take a bus, a train or any other public transportation and also have to work around, I would very much rather to get there while there's more people which is at 10pm... I went and wait there around 4am, by myself... sounds like a slightly riskier thing to do and I mean sure... you're still going to make it there around the same time, but once you arrive and stay and leave the area you will mix with with people go out for work around 5am... rather than meeting the weirdos who are out in the night at 3am... lmfao

Vivant if I had to make that weekly commute for something job related I would rather drive from 10pm to 4:30am. Those are weird hours for sure but I would avoid any rush hour traffic. For that reason alone I would choose those hours for my once a week commute.

I would HATE to have to get up in time to leave at four-freaking-thirty am. That would be horrible. I am not a morning person.

I would pick 10:00 pm to 4:30 am because I would already be wide awake and could plan my day around it. I normally don't go to bed until 2:30, anyway, so I could stay up later one day a week.

Could I nap or work on my laptop during the commute?

Although I am a night person and not a morning person, driving 10 pm until 4:30 am seems to be too dangerous!

Depends how commuting is done. If I were to drive there by car, I'd rather leave at 10 pm. Driving at night is something I usually try to avoid, but the other way puts you in rush hour traffic (8 to 10 am) when you are closer to your destination.

If it is done by bus, train or plane, I'd go with a start at 4.30 am, even it is means getting less sleep than usual.
