I have tattoos, and I've donated blood.
It's going to vary by organization, but for the most part, tattoos don't cary the samd stigma as they used to. Quite a few people have them, now, and most blood donation companies won't exclude you just for having them.
The Red Cross, for example, has no problem with people donating, provided your tattoos were done at a reputable location, and even if they weren't, it's recommended that you wait three months before donating.

As long as you don't have blood-born illnesses you're good.

I'm diabetic so I can't. Otherwise body art doesn't stop you unless you had a tainted needle.

Every organization is different.
the place I go to it's a year if the place is out of state or unlicensed, in state with a license it doesn't matter.
