What would happen if I start taking spironolactone while using transdermal patches?

Hi! I just started using Zafemy patches (ethinyl estradiol and norelgestromin) to treat my acne and regulate my periods, and it's kind of helping, but I also want to get on spironolactone get rid of my acne completely. I might have PCOS based on the fact that I experience some of the symptoms (acne, excess facial hair, and irregular periods), but my doctor said that I don't have it. I had an ultrasound, and my uterus and ovaries were completely free of cysts and called healthy. When I informed the doctor that my periods were irregular, she said that because they varied by only like a week that it couldn't be PCOS. The doctor claimed that people who have PCOS sometimes go long periods of time without menstruation. However, a few years ago, I had blood work that said I had low estrogen. I can't remember which hormone I was high in, and I know for a fact it wasn't testosterone, but I think it might have been FSH. If I start taking spironolactone, would I notice any changes in myself mentally/emotionally and/or physically? Would the combination of estrogen and androgen blockers make me look more feminine? Would my ache go away? I know it's not a guarantee.

Honestly , I cannot answer the question , but back in the day I spent much time with a dermatologist , that happened was a skin condition I let go too far , it was horrible , a hormone imbalance , not helped by my then lifestyle , and a very very hairy chest starting to happen , recipe for disaster , finally I went to a specialist , and from start to finish it took 4 years to get completely right , I wear my scars with honour now ( you can't see them.. but I can ) ..

So , I really have empathy , take it seriously ( as you are ) and go see someone who really knows this stuff , I say now that my dermatologist saved my life , and I was on some super strong sht at the time , the stuff that had some kids suicidal , dont know if they still write scrips for it , but for me , it started working straight away..

Did it depress me? I'm not sure , I can only say " Not too my knowledge " ..

go to a dermatologist wash your face every day pimples don’t last that long anyway on teens and young adults it’s a part of life

my sister, 25, still gets breakouts. i think it might be genetic. i’m visiting a dermatologist in February, but i would like my skin to clear up at least a little bit before then. i feel miserable with acne-covered skin. i feel like it’s the first thing people see when they look at me. you’re a 36- to 45-year old man, you wouldn’t get what it’s like to be a girl in college. i want the acne gone as soon as possible!!!

Get Cetaphil and wash your face in the morning and at night time why do you have to wait so long for February?

You clearly don’t understand how much dermatologists are in demand. I have a hormonal imbalance, not poor hygiene.

I know, but that’s what I did when I started breaking out as a teenager wash my face at least twice a day, and it really helped
