When will acne stop? Why does every product I use makes my skin worse?

Maybe you should consult with a dermatologist.. Most people on Gag aren't experts, so what works for them, might not be suitable for you. Plus the question doesn't offer any details, so it's really difficult what triggers acne in your case without knowing your medical history, diet etc.
Many people can control their acne by following simple skin care tips and using acne treatment that they can buy without a prescription. If you continue to see acne after giving these tips a chance to work, a dermatologist can help. Some people need prescription-strength acne treatment.
Tell your doctor you want to try accutane. He might just give it to you or he might want to try a few other things first such as antibiotics. I would caution you not to allow your doctor to give you antibiotics for longer than three months. That shit fucked me up.
I think after taking accutane your problems will likely be solved for life. It's very expensive but less so because you're male and it's worth it so just do it.
Stop putting drying chemicals on your face and washing a lot and trying to dry out your pores. You're just irritating and confusing your skin. You dry out your face and it says whoah we need MUCH MORE OIL UP IN HERE and then you are fucked. I will go so far as to say you might as well stop using soap all together. It's counter intuitive but has made me much more comfortable. I have no more or less breakouts than before but my skin doesn't feel like I want to rip it off because of the discomfort. You're skin is much like your stomach in that it has millions if not billions of TYPES of bacteria. Different ones for different places. Your belly button and armpits are like giant rainforests of bacteria diversity. You soap up your skin and it's like what antibiotics can do to your stomach. It throws off the balance of "good" and "bad" bacteria. It makes you stink (I've solved big odor problems by stop using soap except on hands).
The trick is to wash your things and not your skin. Use a clean towel and wash cloth every time. Clean pillow case every single night. Clean clothes. The exception is that you wash your hands and try not to touch your face. One weird way to not touch your face is to put Elmers glue dried on your fingertips. It just makes you more aware of what you touch.
I made that mistake at first too - she is a she. Interesting ideas! Now I found that "Dawn" and other dishwashing liquids worked for me, as did scrubbing my skin (other than my face) in the shower, but I'm a guy, so maybe it is different.
Don't use any product it will make situation worst, only change your diet
Avoid oily , fried, spicy foods
Don't eat junk food
Drink maximum water 💦
Eat mixed fruit and salad
Eat vegetables
You will see diffrence in 15-30 days it is 100% works 👍😊
Thank you for MHO
Having once had some bad acne myself, I can relate. Some suggestions:
1. Crew cut your hair. Less teen oily hair, less acne.
2. Oil cutting shampoos, see above.
3. grease cutting liquids for face washing, also see above.
4. Diet changes. I am by no means one of those annoying "vegans" and I have a sweet tooth, but if you can dial back the meat, the dairy, and the sweets a bit it helps.
5. Enemas and Colonics. OK, that one is *really weird*, and I would not blame you for trying everything else first, but it does make your skin less blemished.
6. Tetracyclines/doxycycline, if you can get a prescription from your or your parent's doctor (s).
7. Take heart - there WILL come a time when the occasional pimple makes you feel young. I was totally flattered when the grocery store or liquor store people were asking for my ID - and I was age 40!
1. (edit) make that a pixie cut for the ladies.
First, know that antibiotics are worthless. It;s a hormonal thing and can only be treated with hygiene and diet. Touching acne always , makes itt worse- at least more noticeable. I mentioned antibiotics first because in the '80s MDs would precribe tetrocycline for it knowing it was worthless but either patients or parents would insist on it. It can ruin the effect of antibiptics- though by far most of it comes from the beef and other meast in our diet but we are currently 1/2 step ahead of bacteria. It's very possible that bacteria will have gotten so much immunity that there will be one we have no treatment for and we are a lot closer to that than many people realoze now

I was told 35 and it was spot on.
Stop using products, a lot of the time they just make the spots angry, if that makes sense. Wash with the mildest soap you can or just plain water. Consider a course of antibiotics from your doctor. You might have to try different ones and it will take a long time
Another thing that really helps is as much sunlight as possible.
You probably need to see someone like a dermatologist or someone like that who can help you.
Sometimes acne can be stubborn and hard to get rid of. One solution is to cover it up with makeup. But that still isnāt getting rid of the problem but masking it.
I was wash your face good and that will probably clear most of it up. Honestly itās not THAT bad and Iām sure you and I both have seen people with much worse then that. You donāt have like pepperoni pizza face
1. Foods/drinks you eat
2. Stress
3. Vitamin deficiencies
4. Makeup/beauty/hygine products with harmful & poisonous chemicals
My advice is don't eat sugar, fast food, fried food, packaged foods (like chips), or frozen food for 2 weeks and see if it makes a difference. During that time, if you're going to wear any makeup, make sure it's a natural brand with chemicals that aren't harmful. Do the same thing with any soaps or cleansers you use on your face.
I know Keflex a skin antibiotic helped me get rid of mine when I was young. Ask your doctor about it. Could work.
Mine only ever stops when I'm pregnant so I'm assuming it's a hormonal thing. I think it's that way for most women with acne so maybe get your hormones checked/go to doc about it
Wash your face with Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo, one time this dermatologist recommended it for a late friend for her son's acne, and it worked and done wonders for his skin.
Honestly personal advice and experience, less is better and if a product isn't serving you, don't use it.
But most importantly go see a dermatologist, a doctor can and will help you.
You could be using the wrong products. Even if you use the right ones, it won't eliminate acne but will improve it
try going to a dermatologist or a doc, because it could be caused by hormone inbalance or other skin problems
Have you tried Retina it's a prescription medication my nieces both used it and it worked for them.
Use skin products not; itās a trap! Theyāre trying to fool You into buying more. Best way is to eat fruits, the basic food. Acids cause harm. Bases donāt.
Use doxycycline before your skin becomes worse than it already is.
Sorry to hear that, but I can't advice regarding your problem because I am not a professional in the field.
Drink a ton of water and remove stress from your life. Get good water filters for shower and drinking water.
Sometimes if doesnāt. Have you been to a dermatologist? They would be able to help you.
Thats a good question for a dermatologist. No one else can answer that question for you
Have you paid attention to how your diet affects your skin?
Have you considered that it might not be acne; but another condition that looks like acne?
Like what?
You motherfucker think itās herpes why are you such a hoe
I am sorry, but if a doctor told you that you have herpes would you react like that? I think not. Perhaps you should stop seeking medical advice from people on the internet if you can't handle their diagnosis. Especially when we can't run tests or have a more complete medical history. So we are limited to the conditions that we know about and the symptoms that they present with. The two most common reasons for those blemishes are acne and herpes. If your acne treatments aren't working and you are sexually active you should consider getting tested for herpes. If you aren't sexually active, then the best course of action is to get tested by a dermatologist for the other possibilities. Yelling at people online will get you no closer to a diagnosis or a treatment.
Give your face a chance to breathe donāt put so much makeup on every day
The only thing u can do is accept it at some point.. definitely a Journey
I donāt know, but you still look very pretty. Good luck.
Could it be something in your diet that is causing your acne?
Are you here in the state cause they have a shit land of products you can use here
What did the doctor say?
Have you consulted a dermatologist?
