My period blood smells a lot, is this normal?

It is normal for menstrual blood to smell, but I used cotton pads this month, which may be why it smells more.

Hi love, that's completely normal! Periods smell, because it's dead blood and it often sits for a while before being cleaned from your body. It's just your bodily fluid :) I also smell mine, but others don't really smell it (unless I don't clean ofc). So don't worry about it too much. Especially near the end of the cycle when the blood becomes more brownish, it will smell a bit more. It's just older blood. If you're really worried, you can always talk to your doctor, but a little smell is 100% normal!

It is normal.. its dead blood coming out of your body, so yes it will stink especially near the end of the cycle.. Just change your pad more often and have showers not baths..

Pads make periods smell more. Just gotta keep clean and give that area some air during your period
