Does alchole and drug rehab work?

Been to it a few times. Whole place I went to is good, the most time you’re there is 14 days. That is hardly anything. I relapsed a number of times. Many others have to as well. Finally I’m in community living, where there’s accountability, no using allowed, can’t being in paraphernalia, programs going on and we are required to go to meetings each day. I think this is better than two weeks in patient. Hell a lot of people are in detox half that time. Your opinions? I’ve taken an interest analyzing this.

Nope, not a single person has ever gone to rehab to get sober. That's why there are 100s of rehabs. Airports don't work either. That's why we have so many.

Yes, but alcohol and drug rehab take both commitment and a willingness to change.

That’s true but when someone is discharged after 14 days, there’s a high chance of them relapsing. Not saying that’s good, just saying it happens a lot. That’s where you have after care
