It’s generally better to spread exercise over the week. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise weekly, which you can break into shorter sessions (e. g., 30 minutes, 5 days a week). Spreading it out helps with consistency and reduces burnout, while longer workouts in a block can be tiring and harder to maintain.
Breaking it down into periods sounds like a good approach! It can make a program feel more manageable. Maybe start with smaller goals or specific time slots for each part, and gradually build from there. Finding a routine that works for you is key—sometimes flexibility helps more than trying to stick to something too rigid
Thanks for the MHO
I walk to work most days and swimming every Saturday morning, and that is on a slow week. We have a home gym, but I rarely go in there.
Around 4 hours of regimented exercise. I get passive exercise doing chores and playing with my kids.
I believe that anyone can achieve great results only working out a total of 1-2hours per week.
