First, your dad has no business telling a 45 years old daughter how to eat, what to eat and how to behave. I don't even see how he can tell you off as I presume you don't live with him. Unless he is aware of your eating habits or you tell him everything, how can he know what you are eating?
If you feel tingling or dizzy, then you may have some other health issues that need to be addressed by a specialist. Consult an endocrinologist to see if you have hypoglycemia. I don't think it is diabetes although I am no doctor. If you did the tests before but the tests are more than a year old, you could redo another one to see if you are pre-diabetic. In this case your health care specialist would have to prescribe you a diet and some exercises to bring those sugar levels down. Good luck.
Thank you. I live with him. Because he can no longer live alone. It's very stifling. He wants me here constantly. He ruins dinner all the time. By correcting my English and criticizing how much fruit I ate. Because he comments on how big my salad is. How much mash potatoes
I ate. I eat sugar free stuff most of the time. Just a couple times a week I get a dessert coffee or sherbet or ice cream.
You have to want to be healthy. No amount of bullying will make a person change their routines. Tell your father he's causing you damage. Lay off.
I have asked him to stop because the entire dinner he talks about all the fat people he saw at Walmart and everything she shouldn't have in her cart. He was a bodybuilder and very athletic. Me not so much. I am very isolated being his caregiver. I don't have friends anymore. He hid the keys so I couldn't go to Christmas dinner with my friends.
Improve your diet = Simple..
Once you set yourself free from these unnecessary " non foods " products laden with sugar and processed you will feel much better , improve your circumstance with weight , your problem is you are addicted to this sht.
So the problem is NOT your father its you , and certainly cut out ALL ice cream , I can assure you , you will never miss this stuff , its horrendous.
I cmm
I eat a lot of sugar free stuff. List of fruit veggies
Consult a dietician and give yourself 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, you will feel better with a sugar-free diet.
But you have to do something about your father, you have to convince him to stop this behavior.
I told him I am leaving. If it doesn't stop because he seems to think I am a teenager and he can impose all these rules on me.
Can't you get your father to take up a hobby? Instead of dealing with you, he could spend his time on other things? For example, start a blog and keep himself busy by writing there.

Yeah ice cream isn't all that in my opinion so you'll be ok
He also was trying to force me to intermittently fast all day until 6 pm. We were having huge fights about. I had to stop because it was absolutely miserable and shaking.
You do what you feel is right for you. Also you're 45 why is your daddy dictating your diet?
Ok well being the creepy stalker I am I saw you mentioned you're living with him. Umm i say that as your father he's overly protective in loving controlling way. Probably might be quite lonely too so it might be a way to communicate something
I don't know. I told him I can't continue to live here and help him if he is going to do that and he blew up at me. I leave the table and go eat in my room. He stands outside my door pounding on it.
Im not biblically educated so I can't help you
It's cok you are probably right. He means well but it's fudged up
See a therapist
