So I looked up brown noise and came across green noise! I’m def a green noise girl… I’ve been falling asleep to brown noise and didn’t even know it… that deep , low frequency sound of thunder and rain.. ou lala

I started listening to brown noise & rain sounds because I noticed that it helped attenuate outside noises across all frequencies. I even adjusted it with eq. Originally, I used it to block out the sounds of babies crying & kids screaming. Then I found that it helped me lucid dream so I listened to it more & more as I slept. Now, I try not to lucid dream, but I do notice that it helps me get deeper sleep when at a good low to mid volume.

I e literally have so many dreams where I’m flying since I started listening to it a wk ago. Yeah it muffles out other noises love that

What do you mean adjusted it with eq

Yeah I used to choose to fly often when I lucid dreamt. But the odds of me getting sleep paralysis were so high that it made me stop trying to lucid dream. Sleep paralysis is scarier than anything in this reality I swear. And I mean that I use eq for everything. It allows me to preferentially shape any band that I want. Let's me extend the perception of clarity.

I get sleep paralysis like twice a year.. it is scary… it’s like I’m conscious but can’t get back into my body… so what I’ve done is say the Our Father prayer as loud as I could in my mind with so much focus and ended it with “in Jesus name Amen” and it brought me back in sn instant after repeating that like 4 times

I can’t move at all.. I’ll try to move a finger to get out of it.. anywho not sure if it’s a spiritual awakening or something malevolent or caused by PTSD.. nobody really knows!

Why don’t you like flying dreams

dangg that's crazy, I can move my head & for some reason still move my tongue because I've made clicking noises to try & get people's attention so they could wake me up. But that's the extent of movement for me. I really don't know what it is but it might make me believe in the supernatural tbh because I'm not too privy on the idea that my mind is what's tormenting me.

I actually prefer flying dreams. But I just don't like to intentionally try to lucid dream anymore because I notice that it led to a higher percentage likelihood of having sleep paralysis
