Is anyone here diabetic?

I have been prescribed a nighttime insulin at 10 units a night. Has anyone else had experience with this?

I'm pretty sure I was almost pre-diabetic a few years back. Now I'm the complete opposite since closer to being an athlete, constantly average a slight deficit in calories, & I take very specific strategies with anything involving my insulin.

Yes, I have Type 2 diabetes. I take Trulicity 3 mg 1 injection weekly, and Metformin 1000 mg twice daily. My A1C is 5.0.

Ask if doctor if you can use Trulicity. Lilly, the manufacturer, will give it to you for free if you qualify and if you need it. Works incredibly well.

My neighbor was just diagnosed a few months ago but, from what I'm hearing, there's a cure for it. I just don't recall what it is.

Diabetes can be improved with keto and Dr. Berg has videos telling you how to use it.

Nope. I went to my GP last year to see about getting that Ozempic. They did some tests and it turns out I'm too healthy for it.
