How would you feel if someone actually admitted to trying to killing you?

I had a gut feeling and I reported my doctor and the committee did an investigation and they interviewed him and he came back and he confessed to the entire thing and he said that he has no reasoning for what he did and then they just reprimanded him but he’s still allowed to work with other patients.

But he just confessed to trying to kill me. I don’t get it. Im still trying to wrap my head around it. Especially when you trust your doctor. He didn’t even apologize. Just like a shrug. Im in actual disbelief. What is this world actually coming to

I'd secretly call the police & have them get them. There's been many cases of medical professionals whether they're doctors, nurses, etc. attempting or succeeding in killing patients. Which is very scary.

I never thought a doctor would do this to me. This is honestly so awful. I haven’t been this stressed out in a while, and I have to talk to the detective at the police station soon

I would be mad but appreciate the honesty. I am a little intrigued that they're still letting your doctor practice medicine after the investigation though.

What did he do that almost killed you?

He prescribed me the same medication Michael Jackson doctors prescribed him for 7 months straight, 6X the recommended dosage. An anesthetic for anxiety

Medical malpractice liability is tricky because you have to prove that the doctor did something that no reasonably competent doctor would in the same situation. If your medication has been prescribed for anxiety before, and your doctor didn't have reason to know about some other factor that would make the medication fatal, your doctor wasn't necessarily being reckless, from a legal standpoint.

Jackson was also prescribed a bunch of other things. He had a whole mess of things going on (as well as a conflict with record company execs, which tend to be fatal).

The committee he reports to called him reckless and alarming. The medication he prescribed me is not used for anxiety, it’s used for surgery and when they asked him why he did it, he said “I don’t know”

Oh wow. I would try speaking with someone at the American Medical Association or something. Someone like that should not be practicing medicine.

I did, he had to go infront of the committee and that’s where they confessed and his punishment was he has to do a course on how to do better. Like that’s nothing when he admitted to attempted murder. Im bringing in the police now that he admitted it to the board

I have the committee decision and the PDF on my computer file now. where they acknowledged he poisoned me and he agreed that he poisoned me on paper to a committee of 3 other doctors
