What are your thoughts on eye color change drops?

I’ve been using this drop which starts changing your eye color for almost 3 months now and I see a big change basically like I see cracks of light brown In my dark eyes and only issue I experienced is my eyes r more dry but besides that I do believe it’s working but is it a good idea to continue using these they have another line of eye drops which recently the FDA sent them a letter saying there’s some bacteria found in those drops not these but as much as I wanna continue I’m paranoid now and I don’t mind any criticism I know I’m not doing the smartest thing I’ll appreciate any advice thank you

Putting drops in your eye and having you iris color change is physisiologically implausible and likely useless. There is no direct communication between the iris and the surface of the eyeball. There are several membranes and structures that the drops would have to pass through to get to the iris. They would be equally effected meaning. It would change the color of the clear structures you eyes need light to pass through. The only way to change eye color is a special Laser surgery and really only to one color. Or a surgery with an iris implant. So magic eye drops purchased on line may temporarily stain or alter the conjunctiva but then the whole eye would change color the white part too.. Any other effect would likely blind you.

I think that is a risk and it depends on how important it is to you. Laser surgery always carries some risk.. I'm not an opthalmologist but laser surgery occasionally causes scarring can change your quality of eyesight. In rare cases people have chronic eye pain after laser surgery. So again it works... but all surgeries Carry risks. It's really a personal decision. Only u can decide how important this is for you. Personally, the surgical risks are why I still wear contacts for distance vision and never got laser surgery. But many people say the laser surgery vision correction was the best thing they ever did.
