Mentally or physically. I'm no doctor, I'm not qualified, I just feel bad for the many followed and the influencer (s) themselves who talk about baulking, gym etc - we all know gentleman of culture that gym folks like the above and fluencer fitness types especially if they'd never gym'd before in their life - and their constant diet posts and upbeat activewear posts - underneath lies some real mental health issues lol 😂😆 and body image issues : because I'm not into that and I don't go gym, I'm looking wonderful :)

Unfortunately bad diet and fitness information is a billion dollar industry in the US. You are wise to be suspicious. There are good people in the industry but even the best of intentions can be swayed by confirmation bias and personal experiences. No to mention once you start making money at it you are incentivized to push the limits of what is true. Never mind the out and out con artists. Your best advice is always be skeptical. Quackwatch. com, and science based medicine are websites that offer good fitness science. But really your personal doctor, who you trust, who treats you and keeps you healthy is the best place to ask those questions.
