I just started taking one last week. I wonder if the pill is more dangerous than the cholesterol. I'll be taking a blood test in about 5 weeks to check on it. It seems to make my sleep more productive.

I’m taking simvastatin 20 mg and it works. No side effects for me 🙂👍

It might be more common than you think. Conversely they can cause depression.

I just googled and read a bit about it. Taking these meds to lower cholesterol and experiencing mood swings/irritability, risk of liver damage and depression in return? That sounds terrible. 🙁
