What depression meds are safe to take when using thc or cbd products?

When using recreationally or medicinally I heard many depression meds do not work or counter act. I know every person is different. But I use products for medical purposes and now can’t because of the medication I am on. I cannot use pain killers because I have a stomach ulcer. Another thing is depression meds are depleting sex drive completely along with food. My doctors are being really crappy so I need advice

Please do not say I am too young. I have been required to quit and only used weed for menstrual cramps

My reply is not meant to be sarcastic but ask your doctor. This isn't a question you should be trusting answers from Dr. Google or people here. Even if someone claims to be a doctor here, I'd still ask your doctor to be safe. Many Doctors have an online portal that you can just send them a message through without having to go in. Good luck!

What do you mean your doctor's are being crappy? Are you just not liking their expert advice? Asking here amongst people who aren't doctors is probably not a good idea to get medical advice from. All we can do is google it like you can and that's not a good idea. You have to be able to take the advice from a doctor whether you like it or not. Remember you can get second opinion. Mixing this stuff can be really detrimental to your mental health. We don't know enough about you and again doctors are qualified to give medical advice not strangers online. This is my way of being empathetic and concerned. If I had a friend in real life or a loved one in your shoes I would urge them to not seek advice this way.

Everyone here keeps saying ask your doctor obviously she doesn't trust her doctor so stop telling her that What she should do is find some kind of CBD tech support person that can guide her.

@Cuminginside She shouldn't trust a CBD tech support person whatever the fuck that is. You don't have to trust anyone but you have to be smart enough to know when your trust issues aren't smarter than an expert. You don't have to just trust a doctor's word for it but you should be able to get multiple opinions from different doctors that are experienced here. Mixing stuff with depression meds incorrectly could be disastrous. Sometimes as an adult you might learn that what you want to do or think you need is bad for you and you gotta learn to find other safer ways.

I'm not even saying she can't take thc with her meds but I just don't know and certainly taking advice from a guy named @Cuminginside isn't a good one. I could be wrong but she just sounds like someone who is in pain, and needs help, and right now just wants anyone to say it will be ok to take x with y. Unfortunately you can't trust strangers here so she needs to ask a doctor. If a CBD tech support person is legally allowed to give medical advice, which I'm not sure, then I apologize for this but I couldn't find information if they can.

with this topic being in my field of study the anti depression medication with the least amount of side effects is Lexapro which the generic name for it is Escitalopram if you haven't already been prescribed it. good luck
