Have you ever self harmed?

Or know someone that has, I don't know if self harm is just cutting or if it counts as hitting yourself in the head with a frying pan or something but I imagine most that have self harmed cut themselves, but I guess any self harm counts to answer the question? 👀

I knew a 20 something years old guy in our neighborhood that, according to my other neighbor, would literally punch himself on his face until he drew blood and had a black eye. My other neighbor said he witnessed it one night, without the neighbor doing it realizing it. Then he punched a tree until his knuckles were bleeding. The next day, he was walking around our neighborhood and telling everyone he got into a fight with three guys and beat them all. I was young but I remember my dad talking to my one neighbor and saying he was doing that so people would think he was tough. If that's true, it's sad! No one should feel a need to do that to prove their "toughness"!

yeah, a lot of stuff can count as self-harm you might not even realize. like ik some guys hit stuff to the point their hands bleed and that's self-harm. getting tattoos a bunch can count too depending on the reasoning

Yea its just assault and battery, now you are getting it, Its like saying I can commit suicide if someone else knows I'm suicidal and I tell them to kill me, it's not suicide, it's just murder, now if they put the bucket on my feet and I kick the bucket then that's them helping me kill myself, if the tattoo person gave you the needle and you tattoo yourself then thats self harm, and shouldn't you be asleep rn 😂

Giving permission to cause you harm doesn't automatically remove all liability from that person, they did the harm, you just allowed it, that's cause me being right is causing you nightmares 😂👀

If we're talking about psychological self-harm, started by Andreas... Well, I had my share of sacrifices, I do not intend to sacrifice more of my mental health for a relationship for instance. Or I will do it again, but only if this is like REALLY strictly necessary 😬

Self harm can be anything that is self inflicted pain I think. I used to cut myself when I was a teenager but have since found healthier ways of dealing with stress/anxiety/depression.

Whats ED, the only Ed I know is education and even tho sometimes it's painful to have to sit through a class, I don't think it counts even if it's willingly 😂

Yes, I punched myself in the eye about two months ago. I wish that I had not for I poked my eye with a knuckle and still see wispy spider webs from time to time.

I don't remember. I've developed a horrific temper with a stubb for a fuse the past three years. 😅 But I do believe that I will think befire swinging next time.

I have and I broke my hand once. The middle knuckle is shifted over about a half inch on my right hand. I may be a little overreactive at times but I am no crazier than anybody else would be with my past events. 🙂
