What time did the firecrackers stop in your neighborhood so you could finally go to sleep?

The fireworks 🎆🎇 weren't very loud and were over early, but the punky ass kids were setting off loud firecrackers until 3 AM! So instead of waking up at 2 or 3 am like I usually do, I didn't even get any sleep until after 3 AM. 💤😴

It was earlier than usual at the beach here. Usually it can go on for sometime, out past 2am. This year it was around 10pm which means the Dad’s and the kids are getting older.

I can’t complain as I used to light off a show that I was told by stranger was better than the town’s show. That was at a beach called Topsail in North Carolina. I would go to South Carolina and buy mortars and everything else. My brother-in-law would come and we would spend $1,000 and split the cost. But we would stop by 11:30pm or so. The last show I did was my best.

There was a guy 2 or 3 miles down the beach that I had my own self imposed competition with each year. I beat him bad that year. But I was also drunk that year which was a first. I shouldn’t have drank as that is when problems happen but fortunately didn’t.

I have no idea tbh. I can sleep through just about anything and I went to bed around 10 with them still going off. They are not legal here, but that doesn't stop people from doing it apparently.

I don't buy any, but usually my neighborhood sounds like World War 3 on July 4th. This year was quite tame. I hit the sack around 10 and was asleep by 10:30.

They never started in my area. I live in the mountains/forest. Lighting a a firework here would get you lynched by the entire town with every fire agency and sheriff deputies up here's help.
