I feel a little strange getting a pedicure, although getting a manicure seems okay. Do you feel the same way?

The first and ONLY time I got a pedicure AND a manicure, I felt the strangest when she was working on my toenails, and I gave her a very large time when she was finished. Somehow I felt that it was somehow 'demeaning' for a girl to cur my toenails and do what they do with the feet. Christ washed the feet of his disciples, as an act of 'humility', on his part, and I felt that somehow for her to work on my feet was somewhat the same kind of humbleness,' and I confess I fell a bit guilty, although my feet were clean, but confess that my toenails were ugly for her to work on.

Maybe I would not feel that way if I had them taken care of regularly and that they did not look so much like needing 'care'

They are used to it and they are getting paid to do it.

Reminds me of working with the elderly… sometimes they feel so bad needing help using the bathroom or cleaning themselves. But it was literally nothing for me, just another day.

@7Phoenix7 When my brother was dying of cancer, I was helping him to the bathroom and back, and helping him brush his teeth, so I know what you mean by that. Helping my brother, was not a hard thing to do.

You have to go to a place that caters to men like Gornik & Drucker, not just an ordinary nail shop which is generally for women.
