Would anyone be interested in the sequel to my MyTake?

I created a MyTake for a hip replacement operation I had almost 5 years ago.

I just had the other hip replaced and I have had a different experience this time. A MyTake takes a lot of time to put together and I do not want to write one if nobody is interested.

yes, I had my physical last November and my goal was to go a whole year without seeing another doctor. It has been one doctor after another since.

I think I haven’t seen most since before Covid.
I had some kind of rash at some point. I forget when…maybe the past 4-5 years? Went to eastern doctors (holistic). Got herbs. Took it went away. Came back. Went to another one. Took herbs, rash, came back… that was $1-$2k.
Went to western doctors. Cream. Went away. Came back. Went to dermatologists. Took skin sample. More cream/steroid … came back… next step? Take shots… 😂 that was like 4-5 years. dealing with all that stuff. I gave up on doctors. They have no clue or maybe they do… but have to make sure to not cure it so we continue to go back to them.
At the same time, I spent weekends watchijg YouTube. Learned more the herbs used. Found Dr. Eric Berg and others.
I cleaned out my diet slowly… rash gone. No more joint pain. Feeling lighter and sleeping better… etc.
mom just said. Illness comes in from the mouth. Trouble comes out from the mouth.
We learn to eat better and speak sweeter. 😊
I was hoping there was something for you before going under another surgery.

the xray showed it was bone on bone. I could take pain pills for the rest of my life but it still is not a cure. A new hip restores mobility and eliminates the pain. You would think that somebody would figure out a way to just replace the cartilage in the joint with some other material that would act as a cushion.

But you felt the pain way before no?
I just eat lots of cartilage.

Maybe they can replace cartilages but surgery makes more money? I don’t know.
Are you all healed up? And no more surgery?

Out of curiosity, is your hip replacement good for life or is there a chance you might need another one before you, well, die.

It should last for at least 30 years. The stem is titanium and the ball is a very durable plastic.

How much did the whole journey cost?

It was a 20 dollar co pay and a 10 or 12 dollar copay for the meds.
