Is this protocol?

I help take care of intellectually disabled adults. Weekends Friday-Sunday

I guess they found bruises on a resident i help in the home. I helped him Thursday night and got him up for the day on Friday and they reported the bruises today. I didn't help him Friday night or Sunday at all, but my supervisor asked me what he thinks what may have caused them. And I said I didn't know or noticed the bruises and I didn't. I didn't do anything. I am worried I am gonna get blamed for this? Or is this protocol to ask everyone what happened?

Yes I think it would be protocol I mean they have to come up with some type of answer and if they ask the patient what does the patient say I'm sure that they would say you did it if you did it I mean or no she didn't do anything

It's almost as if you have to wear a body cam just to prove your innocence because anybody can say anything about you and that's just wrong

I honestly think body cams would be awesome addition but it might violate their rights. They are non-verbal adults so it adds that Grey area unfortunately. :(
