What are some of your annoyances with health care?

Mine is the fact I cannot get allergy testing done unless I go privately for skin issues.

My dr prescribed me "strong" steroid cream to help my contact dermatitis, told me to use it twice a day for four weeks as well as taking antihistamines daily. I've tried many different creams before and nothing seems to get it to fully go away at least for long. Im two weeks in, doing everything as instructed and low and behold it went away for a week and its back with vengeance. Obviously ill keep carrying on the treatment, im supposed to rebook to see him 3 months from my last appointment but I have a feeling im going to need to go in sooner.

Yesterday when I got home from work my hand looked like an old lady's hand, I could pull the skin on my pinky finger and it felt like paper, it stayed in whatever position I pinched it into. 🙃

I would have to pay over 1k to get prick tested if I go private but even then most places aren't taking new patients because there's so much of a backlog.

Am I really just supposed to live with the diagnosis of "hypersensitive skin" and not be able to shower daily, wash my hands with soap if I dont know what's in it and have to throw away SO much stuff that reacted with my skin because I have no idea what im supposed to be avoiding?

Ugh sorry for the rant
