Should we ban body building?

Too many people are torturing and hurting themselves to become a sex object to the opposite gender.

Do you really think super bulky body builders are doing this to appeal to the opposite sex? Lol, that’s the silliest thing I’ve heard in a while.

Almost none of them are doing it to look good for the opposite sex. They’re doing it for themselves, they’re trying to prove they can become stronger (or bigger), each time. At that point it would have developed into a body dysmorphia.

The vast majority of them know that this kind of build isn’t attractive to most women. Sure some women may like a muscly build in a man (and not all women do), but definitely not this over the top. There are some female body builders that have developed this problem too.

The idea of freedom would be the ability to do stupid stuff for whatever stupid reason.
With your logic we should ban car racing, mountain climbing, some professional sports, rodeos and anything else which can be dangerous or torturous as you said. We would have to ban some jobs too… linemen who work on high voltage power lines, underwater welders…. Very dangerous and so many more.
